Fine Art Photography by Marcus MB
Many photographers who experiment to learn and grow in their field go through the same predictable and long learning curve of photography fundamentals and guidelines. They learn few tricks and then hone their skills by practising them again and again. For a few gifted ones this learning curve becomes much shorter and they move up on the ladder faster than others. One of such photographers is Marcus Møller Bitsch who in a short span of 3 years has become a pro and has created a really impressive body of work.
Marcus is a 20 year old self-taught photographer born and raised in Aarhus, Denmark. Currently based out of Brisbane, Australia Marcus is particularly proficient at Fine Art and Self-Portrait photography. Marcus started photography merely three years ago after a knee injury which conked his love for water sports. In a very short span of three years Marcus has matured immensely as a photographer and now he boasts of an awesome portfolio. Marcus describes his formative years saying, “I grew up close to nature with an insatiable curiosity for life and a thriving imagination.” It seems to be continuing through out his photography career so far.
His images are very reflective and sometimes perplex viewers with curious compositions. Last year, he took a ‘365 day photo challenge’ by Flickr and captured 365 images for every day of the year. All these images show the progress of Marcus as a photographer. Through surrealism, Marcus has created several characters and drew them seamlessly in his compositions. His understanding of fine art genre and the treatment is visually aesthetic and challenging. With his body of work Marcus MB seems to have all the skills to become a successful photographer.
